Comic worth a thousand words

Sometimes things just hit me and I feel the need to share.  This comic was brought into work the other day and I have looked at it at least five times, but today when I read it the unspoken jumped out at me.  This comic is so right now, for us (Ok, I will just speak for myself). As christians we just spend our time complaining that this or that did not go the way we thought the Lord should have done it and totally miss the fact that he had provided safety (in this case). All we can do is whine about all the rain.  So the next time that we are complaining about how bad the rain is let's take a look around and notice that we are not under water.

I know what you mean...like when we complain that everything here is made of bologna. We need to learn to be content with our bologna.

Yeah, cuz bologna only gets you to heaven faster, right?

"I see where you're going with this."

Hey, I just had a really good idea for a saying. First, I wanted to say that I appreciate this post.

You know that line from Forrest Gump, "Life is like a box of chocolates"? Gimme some of your ideas that go like this:

"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get unless you plan ahead and poke the underside with your finger".

OR

"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get, but God does so trust in Him when you bite into the crummy fruity ones".
