Melding the Generations

At OC, we've been challenged with the what we've come to call "melding of the generations". We've passed the 50 year mark of ministry and therefore are face to face with turning over leadership to a younger generation. How do we glean what we can from those who have years and years of experience, but make it relevant to today? How do we keep true to our core values but make it culturally appropriate for today's new missionaries and leaders, not only in the states, but all over the world? How do we communicate the amazing ministries that OC does with freshness and newness? These are all questions that we are pondering and realize these are important questions to answer as we move into the future. This is an exciting time for OC. We feel that we are on the brink of something very exciting and we are looking toward the future with anticipation of what that is.
